Hey everybody!
Welcome to the new home of the Basu and Godin Notebook. We’re excited! This project is a big leap for two humble sportswriters, and we’re still getting familiar with the Substack platform, so please bear with us. We will get rid of all the little wrinkles as we get more comfortable with the platform.
As we said in our goodbye episode with SDPN, we intend to push our first pod on Friday, Oct. 11, and then resume our regular cadence with shows every Monday and Friday. By next Friday, the Canadiens will have kicked off their regular season, having faced the Maple Leafs in Montreal and the Bruins in Boston the night after.
As we also mentioned in our “Moving Day” episode, all our episodes will remain free in October and then the paid subscribers will get their exclusive stuff at the beginning of November.
The response in the first few hours of the launch has been overwhelming. We’re really thankful to have you on board!
